-Our dachshunds are considered “Tweenies”. This means that they are slightly larger than a miniature dachshund, but will not be as large as your typical standard dachshund. Their weight full grown ranges between 10-16 lbs.

We have been breeding for 4 years.

Are all puppies on the website bred by Miller’s Doghouse?

At Miller’s Doghouse, we have litters through-out the year. Outside of our own litters, we also work with a small network of breeders that have the same in-home family philosophy as our own. We collaborate and work together to ensure we find amazing forever homes for all of our little muffins.

Why does Miller’s Doghouse work with other breeders? How did you find them? And how does it work having partners?

Over the years of breeding and buying our own dachshunds we have gained mentors and other family friends that breed dachshunds. They have noticed how difficult it is to sell their puppies without the proper platforms. We specifically partner with 3 families located all over the south to ensure that all of our fur babies find the best homes. Over the years we have built close relationships with everyone. We have grown from partners, to friends, to family. All the families that we partner with have the same philosophy about breeding as our own. This is one of the main reasons why we decided to work with them. We communicate with each other throughout the entire process. As soon as the puppies reach a proper age to be away from their mother and are eating on their own, we pick them up and begin the process of finding their forever home. We strive to make life easier on both the breeder and the customer. All puppies are well socialized and have started the process of crate training. They are also current on shots and on a regular deworming schedule.
